Open boxes only at the top

If you only want boxes open at the top so that you can remove goods from the top, JILL (lid) is the right solution for you.

JILL can make a single lid cut, in which only the two upper, long flaps are cut out, or a double lid cut, in which both the upper, long and the lower, short lid flaps are removed. In both cases, the carton retains a high degree of stability because the corners and edge parts of the flaps remain.

Essential aspect

JILL processes cartons chaotically - different sizes without pre-sorting.

Each carton is measured individually before processing. Cartons opened in this way can be transported back to the warehouse without hesitation after goods have been removed. Goods are not expected to fall out.

Applications

This makes JILL particularly suitable for textiles such as down jackets and T-shirts or generally for bulk small parts such as dummies, bottle caps, etc.

The system can be designed for customer-specific carton sizes. However, the minimum size should not be less than (LxWxH) 160 x 140 x 100 mm.The JILL system uses the patented knife PAM for cutting the upper flaps and the special knife OZI for the lower flaps.

The cost saving compared to manual opening is approx. 80 - 90 %.
